My little monkeys...

Well I have lots of pictures to put up! Here is a taste of what my little monkeys have been up to lately....

We were getting ready for church last week, and I told Hayden to go upstairs and change his pants because he got marker on the ones he was wearing. He came back down like this:

Yes, those are MY socks, and I did just let him wear them to church :) Then he wanted to wear them again this week....

Maycee is busy busy busy growing BIG these days. Look at those sweet rolls!

Hayden is a good big brother and keeps Maycee entertained during tummy time.

Hayden had a rough couple of weeks where I think he realized that Maycee is a permanent part of our family and isn't going away. But with a little extra attention from Mom and Dad he is doing better. He is getting so smart. He drew a 'P' on the couch with his car yesterday. I think I better start working on writing letters with him! His vocabulary is growing everyday as well. I can always tell when he has just picked up a new phrase because he uses it over and over. Some of the new things he says are "by the way..." "that's ag-nox-ious" and "otherwise...". And he did tell me the other day "go away you horrid thing!" I had to leave the room on that one, it was too funny but I didn't want him to know it was funny, or to think it was ok for him to tell Mommy that! He is such a fun kid. He finally has gotten the hang of riding his new bike, and wants to go outside and play no matter what the weather is.
Maycee is getting bigger and bigger everyday (literally!). She turned 3 months yesterday, and I am pretty sure she is over 19lbs now. She wears 9 month size clothes, and is getting ready to move into her big girl carseat as soon as I get the cover washed. She is figuring out her hands, and is starting to reach for and grab things. Peter saw her roll over for the first time the other day, but she has not repeated it as far as we know. She loves to blow raspberries and is just full of smiles. She is such a happy baby, she is rarely fussy. I just love her to pieces, it seems like she has always been a part of our family.
And in other news...Peter and I are now both the proud owners of glasses. Apparently we are getting old :). Peter is near-sighted and notices a big difference with his glasses. I have an astigmatism, and only notice a difference on things like the computer screen.

Peter is setting up rotations for his LAST year of med school (yay!) and getting excited about moving on to a residency. He will be gone for several months this fall, so the kids and I are looking forward to using some of that time to spend time with family in Missouri. That is about all that is going on here. I hope you all are doing well!

Your kids are the cutest things ever! Maycee is such a big girl, I just can't get over how much she's grown. She's adorable! And Hayden is such a big boy! It cracks me up what he said to you- they come up with the funniest things to say at this age. =)
