Good grief, behind again!

You would think I would be able to at least post something once a month or so...but apparently that is not the case! I have a lot of pictures to post, so here we go!

Hayden has been loving the nice weather, and spends as much time outside as he possibly can. His new favorite spot is under the swings in the backyard, because there is some very nice dirt for him to make roads and drive his cars in... he is definitely all boy!
Hayden is such a good big brother to Maycee... and she just adores him! I think they were watching Curious George here...
Maycee has been up to all sorts of mischief lately. She is a sitting expert, and is working on crawling already (yikes!).
I guess she thinks she has to catch up to her cousins... I am looking forward to seeing how much she has grown at her next check up at the end of the month. I know she has slowed down since the last appointment, so I am interested to see just how much. And while she is not crawling yet, she can still get around! She has mastered moving in circles, and does a very nice (and pretty fast) backwards scoot. She scoots as far as she can go, gets stuck under the couch, and then maneuvers out and around in another direction.Maycee also recently started eating cereal. She is not as interested in it as I thought she would be. I think she will like it more when she can feed herself, as she is much more interested in the spoon than what is on it.
Maycee is such a happy girl, and usually full of smiles. I think she is working on getting her first teeth, and that combined with her cold has made her a bit crankier than normal, but I still can't complain because she is an awesome baby!

This is one of the dresses that Nana DeReus has smocked for her. Maycee will never have a shortage of beautiful dresses! :)Just lounging in the sun....Getting Hayden to keep his toys picked up and out of her reach is going to be fun I think...
And this is one of her new favorite faces. I get this first thing when she wakes up from her nap, and it means "I'm ready to play, Mom!"Hmmm, wonder where she learned it....
