Happy Birthday Hayden!

Hayden is 4!!  Where did the time go?  It seems like just yesterday I was worrying about his sleeping habits and trying to get him to nap in his crib instead of the swing!

Hayden- You are growing way too fast!  Slow down!  You are such an amazing kid, and I love you so very much.  I haven't had as much time to spend with just you this year, and that has been a little hard on both of us, but you have adjusted very well to not being the only child.  You are an awesome big brother, and have a little sister who thinks you are just the coolest!  This year you have learned to share - your mommy's attention, as well as your toys.  Most of the time you are a very generous brother, which is pretty big for a boy your age.  You have also learned to write your name, and to draw great pictures of people and fast cars.  We are working on learning the sounds the letters make, and you are catching on quickly.  We are also working on writing letters and numbers, tracing, and cutting.  You just graduated from Nursery and moved up to Sunbeams, and so far you are loving going to Primary with the big kids.  You are still my snuggle-bug, and I hope you stay that way for a long time.  I am so proud of you Hayden, and I love you!

For Hayden's birthday, we let him open his gifts first thing in the morning, so he could play with them all day.  In the afternoon we had a bunch of friends and Poppy over for cake and ice cream.
