The State Fair

While we were in Missouri, Grandma and I took the kids to the Missouri State Fair.  It was the perfect day to go to the fair!  It wasn't hot, it wasn't crowded, and best of all it was $2 Thursday!  $2 admission, $2 corndogs, $2 funnel cakes...it was wonderful!  We had a lot of fun and both the kids were very well behaved.  The Circus, seeing farm animals, and yummy fried greasy fair food were just a few of the things we enjoyed.

There was a Robot exhibit that Hayden just loved!  He especially enjoyed playing with this Robot that was built to suck up these big velcro balls and shoot them back out the top.

Maycee was such a trooper.  She didn't get a good nap all day, but never once got cranky.  What a girl!

There was an awesome Children's Station where we could go to cool down indoors (not that we needed it that day!).  Hayden had a  lot of fun in there, playing with the giant bubbles and the drums.  It was hard to peel him away to go ride the rides!

But eventually I did get him out of there and he LOVED riding all the rides he could.

Mmmm, corndogs and funnel cakes....

We had a great time at the fair.  Thanks Grandma for going with us!
